What is Alcazaba Lagoon?

It's a vast 1.4-hectare freshwater surface that's navigable. This lagoon offers a truly unique aquatic experience, emulating the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean. Picture an oasis with fascinating shades of blue and white sand, all meticulously designed to provide a paradise-like experience in the heart of southern Spain.

What makes Alcazaba Lagoon even more special is the variety of water sports you can enjoy here. From thrilling paddle surfing sessions to peaceful kayak rides and even the opportunity to try windsurfing. This lagoon is not just a place for swimming; it's a comprehensive water sports center with exciting activities for all ages and skill levels.

Moreover, the lagoon is surrounded by a white sandy beach and exotic gardens that create a serene and beautiful atmosphere. You can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens or simply relax on the beach while soaking up the sun.

Instead of relying heavily on chemicals, the lagoon primarily uses ultrasound to keep the water in perfect bathing conditions. This innovative technique is not only environmentally friendly but also ensures that the water is clean and safe for all visitors.

What to do at Alcazaba Lagoon

Besides the water sports and relaxing moments by the lagoon, Alcazaba Lagoon offers much more than just crystal-clear waters and thrilling aquatic activities. It features three covered pool areas to ensure safe swimming for all visitors. Additionally, there are two restaurants where you can enjoy delicious meals and refreshing beverages while relaxing by the lagoon.

For those seeking a more exclusive bathing experience, the lagoon also has designated areas in the corners, providing specific spaces for the exclusive enjoyment of visitors.

The surroundings of Alcazaba Lagoon are equally impressive. Surrounded by lush exotic gardens covering 4,000 square meters, the lagoon offers a lovely place to stroll and enjoy the natural beauty around. In this tropical oasis, the experience goes beyond the water, providing visitors with a tranquil and serene atmosphere where they can escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in a world of relaxation and delight.
